Winter ice climbing and rock climbing is great in newfoundland because most of our venues feature views of towering frozen waterfals overlooking an icy ocean or stunning backdrops like the Tableland Mountains and Blowmedown Mountains, popular Newfoundland ecological reserves and world UNESCO sites. You havn't experienced a waterfall until you have seen one up close and frozen, and it's an axperience like no other. Ice Climbing - it's safer than driving to the airport and a million times more fun.
